Support matrix

The declared range describes which versions may install the package. The tested configurations below record what was exercised for 0.1.0; 0.1.1 changed only how the packages are built (no source maps), not their code or behaviour. They do not imply that every version in a range was run.

SurfaceDeclared or intended supportTested for 0.1.0
Node: engine, SSR and exporterPackage engine range ≥18.18Real packed consumers on Node 20.20.2 and 22.23.2. Node 18 was not exercised.
React≥18 and below 20React 18.3.1 and 19.3.0 in packed Vite consumers; React 19 SSR/hydration and settlement checks.
TypeScript≥5.0; ESM with bundler or node16 resolutionPacked declaration consumers on TypeScript 5.0 and 5.9.
Bundlers and frameworksVite, Next.js and esbuildVite 8.3.0 with React 18/19, Next.js 14 with React 18, Next.js 15 with React 19, esbuild distribution checks.
BrowsersEvergreen Chrome, Edge, Firefox; Safari 15.4+ intendedChromium rendering and packed browser consumers using Playwright 1.56.0; mobile WebKit layout/navigation checks. Other browser/version combinations are not an equivalent validation claim.
DOM / Web ComponentFramework-free SVG in modern browsersPacked import-map DOM and standalone custom-element consumers in Chromium; lifecycle, pause/resume, settlement and idle ticker checks.

Native development toolchainFollow the selected React Native / Expo release requirementsThe Expo SDK 57 / Metro consumer requires Node ≥22.13; it is not run on Node 20.
Lottie exportsLottie JSON and dotLottie v2; 12 time-based presetsInstalled CLI/function agreement, archive round trips, lottie-web and dotlottie-web playback checks, plus native wrapper playback with lottie-ios and lottie-android.
SwiftUI / Compose wrappersiOS 15+ and Android API 24+ targetsSwift package and Android AAR builds, compiled resource attribution checks, focused simulator/emulator rendering. SwiftPM and Maven Central version 0.1.0 are available. See native setup.
Static SVG / JSON downloadsBrowsers with downloads and clipboard supportBrowser download/copy checks; SVG export parity across the 2,000-icon catalog.

The table covers the packages. This website itself is built with Next.js 16, which needs Chrome, Edge or Firefox 111, or Safari 16.4, or later.

React Native 0.79–0.85 and legacy architecture were not exercised. Simulator and emulator results are not physical-device performance measurements.

0.2.0 release verification

The 0.2.0 npm tarballs were checked locally on macOS with Node 22.23.3: all eleven packed-consumer cells passed, including React 18/19, Next.js 14/15, TypeScript 5.0/5.9, DOM/Web Components, Lottie and React Native Metro bundles for iOS and Android. All 2,458 package unit tests passed. GitHub Actions did not start because of account billing, so this is local verification, not a new Linux CI result. Native simulator and emulator evidence in the table above remains historical.

Not supported

  • CommonJS require() consumers: packages are ESM only.
  • Internet Explorer or browsers without the required SVG transform support.
  • Node below 18.18, or a native toolchain below its own Node requirement.
  • replace transitions and duotone on React Native or Lottie exports.
