Changelog
0.2.0
All seven npm packages move together to 0.2.0. The catalog remains at 2,000 icons.
- New squash, grow, lag and wipe gestures, diagonal entrances and joint-aware motion.
- Semantic animation designs for 1,043 icons, with further corrections to timing and geometry.
- Released spins coast forward to an upright stop; exits remain invisible after settling.
- More reliable late icon registration, animation chains, reduced motion and keyframe playback.
- React, DOM, Web Component, React Native and Lottie fixes for consistent playback and rest poses.
SwiftPM, Maven and the hosted native animation assets remain at their separately published 0.1.0 versions. An npm release does not update those distributions.
0.1.1
A packaging fix for all seven npm packages. The 0.1.0 archives shipped source maps that contained the original TypeScript; 0.1.1 ships compiled JavaScript and type declarations only, and every release now checks the packed archives for source maps and source files. Code, icons and behaviour are unchanged. The affected 0.1.0 versions are deprecated or removed on npm.
0.1.0
The first npm release includes all seven packages under
@open-symbols.
- 2,000 icons, per-icon imports and a JSON distribution with meanings and search data.
- React, React Native, framework-free DOM and Web Component adapters.
- 13 public engine presets, including
drawOnanddrawOff; monochrome rendering. - Lottie and dotLottie export through an installed CLI and function API, with 12 time-based presets and fixed-value variants.
- Packed-consumer verification for Node 20/22, React 18/19, TypeScript 5.0/5.9, Vite, Next.js, browser DOM/custom elements and native Metro bundles.
- Static SVG and JSON downloads, per-icon links, keyboard navigation and reduced-motion controls on the website.
replace remains experimental. Native SwiftPM and Maven distribution use separate release
channels; publishing the npm packages does not publish those artifacts. See
